Oh dear. Are you really trying to visit this site using Internet Explorer 6? You do realize that browser is almost 10 years old, don't you? It messes up web sites and causes developers to stay up late to fix things it breaks. Wouldn't you really rather have a nice modern browser like Firefox?

Ascend: The Catholic Faith for a New Generation is a new way of exploring the basics of Christianity. Contemporary, visual and readable, it is a full-color, magazine-style overview of the Faith developed with young adults in mind. It takes its inspiration from the way we use information today: matrixed rather than linear, visual rather than textual, engaging rather than academic.

Ascend is not the first thing I have written. My essay on Our Lady of Guadalupe was included in the anthology Contemporary Catholics on Traditional Devotions, edited by James Martin, S.J., and published by Loyola Press. I have also been a frequent contributor to America and Commonweal, two of the most prominent national Catholic magazines. Some of the articles I wrote for America have even been cover features. I'm also pleased that Ascend was awarded first place in Popular Presentation of the Catholic Faith by the Catholic Press Assocaition in their 2010 book awards.
